About Greta
I am a Chess tutor with 10 years of teaching experience. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals. My goal is to help each student grow step by step, no matter their age or skill level. I focus on building a strong foundation in chess tactics, strategy, and thinking ahead. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clear communication, and making learning enjoyable. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to fit their style and goals. I encourage my students to think critically, stay motivated, and take responsibility for their progress. Over the years, many of my students have improved their chess ratings and performed well in local and online tournaments. Some have even gone on to lead chess clubs at their schools or workplaces. I use fun practice games, puzzles, and real match analysis to keep lessons interesting. Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, I’m here to guide you with support and care.

My teaching methodology is centered on Communication, Motivation, Accountability, Creativity, and Flexibility. I believe that open communication helps students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing ideas. I motivate students by celebrating small wins and helping them set clear learning goals. I also hold them accountable with regular check-ins and feedback to track their progress.
I use creative strategies to make learning fun and engaging, especially in subjects like Chess, where problem-solving and planning are key. For other subjects I teach, I connect lessons to real-life examples so students understand not just what they’re learning but why it matters. I adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s learning pace and preferences.
Whether it's mastering chess strategy or gaining confidence in another subject, I create a supportive space where students feel challenged and encouraged. I aim to build not just skills, but also a love for learning.
