Mathematics is not for remember but to understand. Real world examples make it easy to analyze the question and understand the problem. For example 4x6=24 is normal equation but in real world nobody going to ask this. Just think you went to a shop to buy 6 kg rice whose price is 4$/kg, what final amount you need to pay? yes it 24 $ .
