About Charlotte
I have studied at both college and university but found working and gaining experience from daily tasks has really helped me learn more and more, especially in the diamond industry. I am a HUGE science fan and really keen on studies to do with the environment also. Gemmology is a big passion of mine and I’ve loved studying and working in it over the past 5 years , it’s a branch off from mineralogy. I love to travel to different culture and explore new cultures and environments . I also have A-LEVEL journalism, with media studies .

Each individual learns differently ! I believe it’s completely wrong to assume and to treat individuals as one.
As a tutor I would like to cover all 3 learning aspects , kinaesthetic , auditory and visual. I am an extremely focused person and would expect my students to be the same, however , no question is stupid in my eyes. I would rather explain the same part of a topic 100 times over , than to leave a student feeling ashamed and I would hate to be seen as unapproachable . It’s important to have a good connection with each other more than anything, I would like to hear how students personally learn best. Video calls/ phone calls. Emails are all perfectly fine to help along the way. I try to create fun quizzes , because the words “mock exams’ or homework may just seem a little bit tense for some !
