I believe that rather than learning technology and earning a certificate, it is better to implement that knowledge into creating a project. This way one will get to learn a lot and also adds a weightage to the resume. My teaching methodology revolves around it. I will take a project and make the student understand the concepts through building that project. I will also provide guidance for contributing to open source as well.
