About Kaito
Hello! I'm currently studying law at the University of Tokyo. I was born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan, and I will be happy to share not only the Japanese language but also the culture and daily life of my home region or Tokyo. In addition to teaching, I enjoy triathlon (I used to play football), watching TV series, and movies—so if you're interested in chatting about sports or entertainment in Japanese, I'd love to include that in our lessons too!

I'm quite fluent in English, so I’ll be able to explain tricky concepts in English when needed. My lessons will mainly focus on advanced Japanese, but I’m also happy to help beginners. Rather than textbook-heavy study, we will be more focused on a more relaxed, conversation-based or discussion-based approach. We’ll chat about everyday topics, current events, culture, or whatever’s on your mind. I believe the best way to improve your language skills is through natural, consistent output — speaking, thinking, and expressing yourself freely. That’s how I improved my English, and I think the same method works for learning Japanese too. While I don’t have formal tutoring experience, I’ve taught some of my friends and they told me I’m actually pretty good at it! So if you're looking for chill but meaningful Japanese practice, I’d love to help out.
