About Sonzida
I had done private tutoring for almost a year, but had to stop due to exams and school work.
As I have a family member around the age I would like to teach, it has given me an insight and some experience on what they learn and different ways on how they can learn.

Hi, my name is Sonzida. I am a loving, caring individual that has a professional attitude to work. I enjoy working with children and helping them excel. My aim is to put the students interest at the forefront.
I offer 1-1 and group sessions for foundation stage, KS1 and KS2.
My approach to tutoring will vary depending on the needs and ability of the student. If necessary, I will be willing to work slow and focus on any flaws of the student.
My first lesson will be a free 45-minute lesson, which will allow me to consult the student on his/her strengths and weaknesses, this will allow me to learn more about the child’s subject syllabus and allow me to get any resources if needed to help progress their learning.
I will provide the student with consecutive feedback after each lesson in which I expect the student to adhere.
I may set some work out of the sessions and may aim to set some tests, this will help me to see if the student is progressing or if I need to work on a different method of teaching.
I can also set some exam practice in preparation for SAT’s.
I will be happy to meet the parents or guardians to report back on their child’s progress after each lesson if wanted.
