About Francesca
I am an enthusiastic, reliable and extremely personable 18 year old on a gap year available to tutor many subjects up to Common Entrance and some subjects to GCSE level. I am available until the end of September. My specialisms are Latin and Ancient Greek - as well as strong A*s in both subjects at A Level (with a place to study Classics at Durham in September), I achieved 100% in Latin GCSE and 97% in Greek GCSE (alongside A*’s in all of my other GCSE subjects).
I have a natural aptitude for teaching and am especially good with teenagers of all ages, having had experience as an au pair. I have experience teaching Ancient Greek to 11-13 year olds from scratch as well as other tutoring jobs, and whilst I have no official qualifications I have also taught horse riding at various different levels to all ages.
I believe that no two people learn in the same way and I enjoy spending time working with students in order to make sure lessons are personally tailored to them in order to be as productive and enjoyable as possible.
