About Rebecca
I’m an enthusiastic maths teacher who loves the subject and has studied it beyond degree level. I am passionate about helping students achieve their potential particularly by improving the confidence they have in themselves and helping them to grow their skills. I believe a relaxed atmosphere is key to really helping a student to improve, where they can be very open about gaps in their understanding.

I work flexibly according to the needs of the students. I can deliver pre-planned lessons re-teaching topics from scratch if a student has found something particularly challenging. Alternatively, I can help plug gaps in understanding by working through their class or homework with them, providing scaffolding and support, and practising similar questions. I am used to using a variety of resources to help explain topics in a variety of ways to support students who find Maths very challenging. I am also used to working with students who would like to extend their knowledge at GCSE ensuring high grades and also easing the transition to A-level.
