About Ria
I’m a current student who recently received Grade 9s in Maths, Further Maths, and all three Sciences for GCSE. As someone who has recently mastered these subjects, I can explain them in a way younger learners easily understand and relate to. Being closer in age to your child means I understand how they think and the challenges they face at school, allowing me to connect with them and keep sessions engaging and encouraging. I’m passionate about helping KS2 students build confidence, enjoy learning, and achieve their full potential. My tutoring style is patient, friendly, and tailored to each child’s needs, ensuring they feel supported and motivated every step of the way. Parents value my approachable manner and the positive progress their children make in both understanding and confidence.

Hi, I am a current Year 11 student who achieved Grade 9s in all my GCSEs, including Maths, Further Maths, and all three Sciences. Having recently completed these subjects at the highest level, I know what works when building a strong foundation in Maths and Science and how to make it accessible for younger learners. I specialise in teaching KS2 students (ages 7–11), creating engaging and interactive lessons that build understanding and confidence. I believe every child learns differently, so I take time in the first session to assess their strengths, challenges, and learning style. From there, I tailor lessons to suit their needs... whether they need help catching up, building confidence, or stretching ahead of their year group. As a younger tutor, I can explain concepts in a clear, relatable way and make sessions fun while still focusing on progress. Lessons are usually 1 hour and include practical tips, easy-to-follow methods, and encouragement to help students enjoy learning and feel proud of their achievements. My aim is to give every child the tools and mindset to succeed in school and beyond.
