About Ben
It's only when we get things wrong to know how to put things right - another one of my mottos!
I have worked extensively across all key stages in my career as a teacher with the most recent academic year being a KS2 teacher. I have experience teaching White Rose Maths along with other Maths resource sites such as TT Rockstars and Sumdog. I am very good at adapting and creating new resources, methods and games to help the learner get to where they need to be.

You only remember something when you enjoy it - this is the basis for my teaching and tutoring.
I try to make my lessons/sessions as enjoyable as I can make them using real world examples and resources to consolidate and enhance learning. I often include a fun element of competition/games to assess learning which my previous students have thoroughly enjoyed. A typical length of lesson would be 60mins which would involve a various approaches to the learning outcome.
I always make sure my students are challenged to the level where they feel confident to make the next step in their progress. My students set the pace and I adapt to them.
