Her engaging personality and high level teaching techniques has broadened her students’ thinking. She displayed an excellent rapport with the children which allowed them to better engage in their learning.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Sadia Karim for 9 years. During the years of our acquaintance, I have known Sadia in many capacities. Sadia is a friend and colleague who I have worked with for two years, in the time I have known her she has shown that she can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during her time in retail. Sadia was always punctual to work and is a great team player, she has a very good personality and is always compassionate towards others. Sadia is extremely creative and this would be an excellent attribute in working with young children, she is also a very patient person and always works to make other happy. For example, when working with Sadia in Gap retail store, Sadia approached customers in a friendly manner and always provided excellent customer service, whilst maintaining the standards of the shop floor. She has had several appraisals during the team meetings for being a responsible and kind employee always putting a smile on a customers face.
In addition, to our friendship, Sadia is always up for a challenge and has always mentioned her passion to get into teaching, her drive and ambition to teach young children will make her an excellent teacher and an inspiration to young children. Sadia has a very caring nature and in any situation is always ready to help others, when as a friend and colleague of Sadia's she would volunteer to help others on the shop floor and take on extra roles when working in a team. Sadia would be an asset as a teacher, this is because as a friend Sadia always puts the needs of other before hers and has a great sense of humour.
Moreover, Sadia's baking business during her gap year indicates that she is very organised, always ready for a challenge and is very efficient. This shows that Sadia is always working hard to meet high standards and always goes above and beyond, therefore, would be a suitable candidate for teaching and to effectively meet the teaching standards. Sadia is also a problem solver and works effectively to remove any obstacles that she may face whether it be in her baking business or working in retail. She is always insisting on working toward perfection and planning effectively to meet the high standards she has set for herself.
Overall, Sadia has presented that she has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a very good work ethic as she is always helping others and has worked extremely hard to receive her undergraduate degree. Sadia always has a positive outlook in every aspect of her life, performing to a high standard in her baking business, as a colleague and friend. As her passion lies within teaching young children and upon her PGCE completion, I believe that Sadia qualities and attribute would allow her to excel in a teaching position and become extremely successful.
