About Saskia
Hello,
My name is Saskia and I am a Structural Engineer by profession, I have been working on building in central London for just under four years and I complete maths calculations every day as part of my job.
I have loved mathematics since a young age. I have previously tutored as a PASS mentor, teaching groups of civil engineering students mathematical concepts.
I have also previously worked as an assistant art teacher with 9-10 year olds at an after school art club.
Currently in my job, I run a series of workshops teaching people within my company how to use a selection of software.
I achieved an A* in mathematics GCSE and A2 level and I achieved a 1st class degree from Sheffield University.
I tend to bring out the best in people and I am an adaptable teacher to all levels and different rates of learning.
