About Iolanda
I am a post graduate with a great impetus to inspire young people in their academic career. I like to see knowledge as a human language to translate our surroundings, wanting my tutees to feel motivated to discover this never-ending wonderful world. I like to teach through a totally personalized way, which allows me to underline what will be of interest for every singular individual. This way, students also experience a self-discovery process, seeing learning as a self-empowerment tool. All my previous tutees improved their grades and gained self-confidence, perceiving examinations as a challenge and an opportunity to exceed their capacities.

My methodology is firstly by getting to know my students. I believe that any learning process is entangled with the way we see ourselves and ultimately the subject.
I then try to develop a teaching technique which is adapted to the student's needs by tackling the points which I think need work on.
Generally, I try to explain the theory in different ways until it is accessible and understandable for the student and then introduce several practice exercises to build confidence.
