About Haley
My name is Haley Smith. I have been a kindergarten teacher for 10 years at a private school in Boston. I have worked with children for 17 years and have a Master's in Elementary Education. My passion is teaching children how to read and build confidence. I have been trained in Fundations, Really Great Reading and the beginning course of Wilson. I look forward to speaking with you!

I always begin lessons with a quick warm up to get your brain ready to learn! We create a schedule together and go over it before each session. I love to make learning fun by playing games and using multi-sensory approaches. I believe students learn best when they have visuals and hands on opportunities. I have been teaching kindergarten for 10 years and love to teach students how to read and write. My passion is to make reading fun and exciting for children. Phonics plays a key role in learning to read, and after many trainings and experience, it has become my passion.
