About Jason
I am a former Northwestern Triathlete who still runs and competes in races across the US! I have two boys and live right outside of Chicago, IL. While I run a large team at an industrial distributor and hone my leadership skills, my favorite times of the day are mentoring individuals 1:1 and seeing folks reach their goals.

Tutoring plans =/= lesson plans. Each student is unique and has challenges in specific areas. My job as a tutor is to diagnose the root cause of the challenge, run drills to build up skills in that area, and bring it back together towards the end of the lesson or set of lessons.
This approach works well with individuals who want to spend the time over the course of a few sessions to really diagnose the problem, rather than just mitigate the symptoms. I am happy to tutor all levels, but teenagers and college students will get the most benefit from these sessions
