About Giulio
I am a third year engineering student at King’s College London with first class honours in all my classes. For my IB degree I obtained an overall grade of 41 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as higher level subjects.
Rhetorically, It was during my time as an IB student that I started to like ‘tutoring’. This is because I too undertook classes with private tutors and often I found the classes unsuitable to my learning style. It is this experience that has allowed me to understand how I wish classes were taught.
I worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at KCL during my second year of university. It was an invaluable working experience as I had the opportunity to deliver classes and tutorials alongside professors for subjects such as Mechanics, Mechatronics and Design.
I believe to be an easy going, supportive, understanding and passionate individual who will go the extra mile to ensure my students achieve their goal. I also love sports, action (and marvel) movies and music which can help build connections and deliver teaching objectives.

Throughout my experience as an IB and engineering undergraduate student I have always found it easier to understand abstract concepts through visualisations and real-world examples; this is what I try to pass on to students.
I strongly believe that in STEM subjects it is important to understand concepts and not memorise formulas. In my classes I try to reflect this value through the extensive use of examples, practice questions, book questions and past papers. The goal it to ensure that the student has understood the concept and it able to apply the knowledge to a series of different scenarios.
My methodology is based on patience, consistency and learning from mistakes. Ultimately, these are the skills I try to pass on to students, in order to render them independent.
