About Joyce
I’m Joyce, a current Medical Biochemistry student at Swansea University. I’ve always had a passion for science, especially Chemistry and Biology, and I love helping others understand subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I achieved strong A-Levels in Chemistry and Computer Science, and I’m now building on that with university-level studies in medical science. I’m friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoy teaching — whether it’s breaking down difficult concepts, helping with exam prep, or supporting students who want to feel more confident in class. Outside of studying, I enjoy learning new skills, reading, and staying curious about how science applies to everyday life!

Hi! I’m Joyce, a Medical Biochemistry student at Swansea University with A-Levels in Chemistry and Computer Science. My lessons are clear, structured, and designed to build confidence—whether you're struggling with the basics or aiming for top grades. I break down complex topics into simple, digestible steps using real-world examples, active recall, mini quizzes, and tailored explanations based on your learning style. I encourage questions and make sure you really understand, not just memorise. Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but I also offer 30-minute sessions for quick revision or targeted support. I’ve supported students in Chemistry, Biology, and Computing at both GCSE and A-Level, and I love helping others feel more in control of their learning. My lessons are ideal for students aged 14–20, from GCSE up to first-year university. Whether you need to catch up or want to boost your grades, I’m here to help science make sense!
