About Isabel
As a dedicated student at Punahou School and a participant in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program—reserved for students scoring in the top 1% nationally—I bring both strong academic credentials and a deep love for learning. I’ve successfully completed Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 1 & 2, and Honors Precalculus ahead of my grade level, which means I not only understand the material—I’ve mastered it. But more importantly, I know what it feels like to struggle, feel stuck, or need a different explanation to make it finally click. That’s exactly what I provide: clear, patient guidance from someone who truly gets it. I take my role as a tutor seriously—coming prepared, listening carefully, and adjusting my teaching style to meet each student's needs. You can count on me to be consistent, communicative, and committed to helping your child succeed—not just in math, but in their confidence as a learner.
