Joe. 24. Fluent in Spanish. Seeking to help students improve their Spanish speaking and conversational skills.

I've personally known Joe for almost 5 years now, and his Spanish language skills are truly exceptional. Joe is highly educated, down to earth, and a pleasure to work with. We were both members of the Hispanic Society, and Joe was highly involved in the committee, organising events and helping other students improve their language skills, as well as giving them an insight into Spanish culture. I would definitely recommend Joe as a tutor because he has excellent skills and knowledge to excel as a tutor!

Joe is my nephew but that is not the reason I chose him to give me Spanish lessons. He was the only person I knew who spoke fluent Spanish. I wanted to learn Spanish as I have a Venezuelan daughter-in-law and now two grandchildren (aged only 2 and 1 ) who are being brought up bilingual. Joe has turned out to be very good in my opinion and lessons are great fun, always on time and catered to exactly what I want to learn that day. But sometimes we just 'chat'. He is also able to explain to me the numerous differences between Latin American Spanish and that from Spain and also to appreciate the pronounciation differences. Its brilliant! I look forward eagerly to learning with him every week and at the moment now stand a chance of keeping up with 'mis nietos'!! We also laugh a lot which I think is so important. He has a very engaging personality and is respectful beyond his years. As his aunt I know that Joe moves effortlessly through the age groups so would be at ease with anyone of any age.
