About Ying Fung
Hi, I’m Phoenix, and I’m from Hong Kong. I’ve been in love with Japanese culture ever since high school—it’s everything from dramas and manga to food, philosophy, and even design and architecture. I’ve studied Japanese seriously and hold the JLPT N1 certification. I also had the chance to work at a Japanese company, which really gave me insight into their business culture. I’ve been teaching Japanese for a while now, both one-on-one and in small groups. I’m here to share what I’ve learned and help you enjoy learning Japanese too!

Course Description: My courses are for anyone—from beginners just starting out to learners who want to take their Japanese to the next level. If you’re a beginner, we’ll focus on pronunciation, basic grammar, and phrases you can use every day. If you’re more advanced, we’ll work on refining sentence structures and preparing for things like exams or business situations. I also like to mix in cultural insights, like common expressions, manga references, or Japanese news, to keep things interesting. And if you have a specific goal, I’ll tailor the lessons to help you get there quickly and easily!
