About Jismiya
Extensive experience of more than 8 years has fueled my passion and commitment to teach Mathematics. As a secondary mathematics teacher with an experience of sixteen years, I take pride and find satisfaction in building a connection with the students and leading them from the confusion of not being able to get a ‘hang of the subject’ to acing it. My ambition as an educator comprises of being inclusive, and to inculcate the love of the subject by explaining the foundations of mathematics as clearly as possible. I want to make them learn the concept so that the students don’t just ‘pass the grade’ but apply the basics beyond school life.
Currently, I am responsible for imparting the knowledge in the areas of algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus to students in grades 8 through 10. Moreover, I have also been proactively involved in and responsible for presenting curriculum planning at the middle school level for more than 10 years in multiple International Schools in Thailand. My experience has taught me that in order to be an effective teacher, it is important for me to stay up to date with the ever-changing pedagogy and teaching methods. It has also taught me that in order to instill the learnings and maximize their engagement, I need to customize my methods, content, and curricula according to the needs and learning styles of my students.

The students who need especial attention or assistance homework, assignments and examination passing could be considered for their success.
The classes can be conducted as individual or group vise in home visiting, online or any other preferable method. My platform for the online lessons is Zoom. Further, I keep close contact with the parents' of the child to discuss his/her improvements and to take the steps for the improvements. I do follow the textbooks given by schools, links related to the school studies and extra problems found. Further, I do revision and assessment frequently to analyze the student's progress.
The charges and the class arrangements can be done on flexible way as per the available time slots. The charges can be paid at the end of the month when the plan classes are finished for the month.
