I am currently a Chess coach who teaches students how to play chess. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies. I have a Vietnamese background. I started tutoing in high school for free when I helped my friends understand concepts they didn't understand in Class

I try to base my teaching style on the student. Generally I look at their learning style and try to adapt to suit them. I always make sure they understand the concept before they attempt any questions. I more geared to learning then getting good grades. I also encourage students to work smart as well as work hard, giving them strategies to tackle hard questions. I also encourage Metacognition, helping them learn and reflect on what they do. I also know stress management techniques
