Franko knows how to speak Italian. He can hold a conversation without any kind of problem and, I guess, he can reach 90% of understanding. Good at pronunciation (vowels and harder sounds) and a vast vocabulary. We can go deeper to achieve a higher level of Italian.

Matt has already some knowledge of the Italian language (since his grandfather is from Sicily) so it has been easy to connect. My advice for him is to be aware of the pronunciation of some vowels and consonants. Watching some Italian movies and TV shows could even help. Another good thing to do is to learn some short phrases he can use in an ordinary conversation. It was really a pleasure to meet him.

Jo is just at the beginning of her journey but she seems really passionate about learning Italian. That's probably why everything in my opinion went really smooth. Not having technical issues helped a lot and even if - for a very first lesson - there were a lot of information it seemed to me that she was getting into it easily. I hope she enjoyed it.
