About Emily
I am a licensed teacher with 7 years of experience. I work as an interventionist, providing support for students who struggle with reading and math. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and have worked as a tutor for students with dyslexia for the last 4 years.
I am incredibly passionate about education and believe all children should have the opportunity to be successful. I work hard to help my students grow in both their academic abilities and their confidence.

I work with students at their level to provide them with the strategies and tools they need to succeed in reading or mathematics.
Lessons will work on developing the skills to access the material the student is struggling with and allow them opportunities to practice. Exactly what is covered depends on the needs of the student.
I have a lot of experience adapting lessons to suit the needs of the student.
Lessons are for students from kindergarten to 5th grade in either reading or math.
