About Aref
As a Mechanical Engineer I have a good background in math and physics. Also I'm a peoples person, and making sure that you fully understand the topics and achieve the results you deserve is my number one concern.
I have had many students in the past between here in Canada as well as back in my home country of Lebanon. They have all expressed to me that I made previously impossible to understand concepts ridiculously easy.
I also really focus on making sure the student understands whats going on rather than using the plug and play formula approach.

Im comfortable with taking any specific approach the student requests, however the way I usually do it, is go over the list of topics and then look at the exercises together.
First I would try put all the technical terms and overly complex mumbo jumbo into easy palatable sentences and try to explain the root and essence of these problems without attempting to solve just yet.
After that I go through a thorough explanation of the relevant formulas and concepts.This is where years of experience come into play as I pace things as slow or as fast as needed by the student repeating ideas as many times as required until it sinks in. Also during this stage I make sure to incorporate a couple of minutes of break time here and there for anecdotes or jokes to break the monotony and make it an overall enjoyable experience.
After that we bring it full circle and go to the original problems we looked at in the first place. With the concepts fresh in your mind we should be firing on all cylinders at this point. If I feel its necessary I might ask you to solve some extra problems that I source and think are relevant just to be certain that you achieve the results you deserve!
