Hi, I’m Yara, an experienced and passionate tutor specialising in IB Higher Level (HL) Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. As a former IB student, I understand the challenges of the IB curriculum and what it takes to succeed. Teaching techniques: 1-Customised Lessons: I assess each student's strengths and areas for improvement, designing lessons that align with their IB syllabus (SL/HL) and specific learning goals. 2-Concept Clarity: For subjects like Biology and Chemistry, I use diagrams and flowcharts to break down challenging concepts. For Psychology, I emphasise applying theories to real-world examples and strengthening essay-writing skills. 3-Exam Focus: I integrate past IB exam questions and provide strategies for tackling command terms (e.g., “Explain,” “Evaluate,” or “Analyse”). This is the most efficient method of understanding content and achieving excellent results.
