About Charolene
Fluency arrives when you stop translating in your head and start feeling the rhythm of the idioms. Surprisingly, the best way to handle DELF or DALF prep is to stop studying strictly for the test. We focus on role play and dialogue practice until these phrases stick in your long term memory. Accents and intonation can be tricky, but we fix them through constant repetition and listening.
Everyday phrases for beginners help bridge the gap between silence and speech. Conversational fluency is the target. It happens when you finally stop worrying about every single mistake you make. We build your confidence toward your final goal.

Fifteen years of gigging across the chanson circuit leaves your ears tuned to the grit of real language. My teaching comes from a deep place in the Quebecois tradition, focusing on the cadence of the street over dusty textbooks.
I work with teens and kids who want to sound authentic. Being self-taught means I know how to break down complex grammar into usable pieces for intermediate learners. I have 7 years of teaching experience under my belt. Reading comprehension feels less like a chore and more like a window into a different culture.
Writing skills should be clear and punchy. My degree is in the school of hard knocks and native immersion. It is a wild ride.
