Across seventeen years of intense coaching I have trained 875 students, many pursuing serious fluency or preparing for demanding professional level language requirements under my direct guidance throughout. My own training was intense and unforgiving, and I firmly believe that relentless focus, not casual conversation, is what actually produces real, lasting language mastery over time. I am demanding and direct in every piece of feedback I give, because comfortable vagueness has never once built genuine fluency in a serious student anywhere. My Spanish lessons are built on intensity, not casual conversation, since I have found that genuine fluency requires relentless, focused effort rather than sporadic, occasional practice fit around other priorities. Every session opens with a demanding grammar assessment, comparing this week's written work against last week's benchmark with no room for excuses about lack of time available. I correct immediately and without softening the delivery when structure falls short, since a serious student needs precise, honest information rather than comfortable reassurance about progress being made currently. Practice targets are specific, ambitious, and reviewed weekly without exception.
