Hi! I’m Geethika. I’m a London-based MSc Business Analytics graduate with a strong background in maths. I offer engaging and personalised maths tuition for students from primary level up to A-Level. What to Expect in the First Lesson? The first session is all about understanding the student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style. I start with a few questions and a short assessment covering key areas of the curriculum. If students have any recent test results or past papers, I review them to quickly identify areas for improvement and create a personalised learning plan. What Does a Typical Lesson Look Like? Each lesson begins with a quick warm-up activity targeting different maths concepts to reinforce previous learning and identify gaps. We then focus on a specific topic, breaking it down with clear explanations and practical examples. I guide students through problem-solving exercises, ensuring they not only understand the methods but also build confidence in applying them. If time allows, we revisit other areas that need improvement. Every session ends with a recap, key takeaways, and optional homework to reinforce learning. How Do Online Lessons Work? I make online learning as interactive and engaging as face-to-face tutoring! Using an iPad and an online whiteboard, I provide clear, real-time explanations, annotate documents, and work through problems alongside students. I use Google Classroom to share materials, assignments, and progress updates, ensuring students have everything they need in one place. How Do I Track Student Progress? With my background in Business Analytics, I take a structured, data-driven approach to student progress tracking. I use Notion to create a personalised learning plan, track performance, and adapt lessons based on real-time progress. This helps both students and parents see measurable improvement over time. My goal is not just to teach maths but to help students develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and a love for learning.
