About Shea
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 9+ years of experience, having successfully taught around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I am passionate about helping students learn music in a clear and structured way.
My teaching method focuses on communication, patience, and flexibility, allowing me to adjust lessons based on each student’s learning pace and style. I emphasise strong fundamentals such as breathing, fingering, tone production, and rhythm. I make my classes engaging by including exercises, songs, and creative activities that keep students motivated.
I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. My strength is explaining concepts in a simple way and guiding students step by step. I also support students with basic music theory. My aim is to help students become confident and skilled flute players.

I emphasise building strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, tone clarity, and finger coordination through clear and structured exercises.
My flexible teaching style allows me to adjust lessons according to the student’s pace, ensuring consistent progress. I encourage collaboration by involving students in discussions and creative activities.
I maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable and confident. In addition to flute, I also teach music theory and rhythm to strengthen overall musical understanding.
