About Myra
I am an Industrial Engineer. I studied at Stellenbosch University and did my masters in information systems. I really enjoy teaching and making complex information simple. I teached extra math classes since I was in grade 12 and all my students ended up passing, mostly their grades rose to B+ or A's and I am very proud to say most of them eventually ended up liking maths.

I understand why maths can get intimidating when some of your previous work is not understood fully or the methods were not explained thoroughly, it happens to all of us. Therefore my teaching methodology is to sit with the student and dissect the problem to the root and then make sure the concepts build on that and is fully understood. My teaching methodology is to follow the student’s curriculum and make sure the student understands and can follow to the methods used in class. My goal is that the student become confident enough with math that they can proceed on their own eventually (maybe not the best business plan but certainly the ultimate goal)
