About Jodie
I have always been someone that enjoys helping others and making other people’s lives easier. In terms of teaching, I thoroughly enjoy seeing my students progress and become better in the topics that they learn with me. Added on to that, it’s rewarding to see how pleased with themselves students get when they achieve the grades they aim for.

I have been tutoring for 7 years and have learnt different ways to adapt to multiple types of students. I follow a curriculum but prefer to work on students' weaknesses each lesson. The type of teaching includes different types of work papers. Every so often, a lesson will involve test questions on the work we have recently done just to ensure you don’t forget what you’ve learnt and that weaknesses have turned into strengths, which is the whole aim of our lessons. A plus to me being a tutor is that I am a University student and so I am still able to relate to what is being taught and preferred ways to learn.

I had Jodie as my daughter's GCSE tutor for her year 11 and her grade was improved from a level 5 to level 8 as her final result. She always answered my questions in terms of how my daughter was doing and what her methods in tutoring her were so I had full transparency with their lessons. My daughter became very comfortable with Jodie and I think that motivated her to do extra work to improve her maths further. I would definitely recommend her.
