About Raine
While I do not have my degree in writing yet, I decided to step away from school to start my family. In the meantime, I’d like to put my knowledge to good use by sharing with students who could use it. I have been around children my whole life, teaching, tutoring and mentoring - and now I have a child of my own! I would love to share my gift of writing with children, and transform it into a creative yet understandable art form they can utilize for the rest of their lives.

I approach writing from a compassionate, creative point of view. Although I have always had a natural flare for the subject, I found that I lost my appreciation for it in school. Often times the way it is taught can take the passion out of it. Writing is a brilliant way for students to express themselves, even if the subject seems dull at first. I want to show kids new perspectives of how to make things interesting while using their creative intuition. On the other hand, I also see writing at mechanical. Grammar is a way to engineer language and I’d like to take the pressure and confusion out of it. Overall, my approach balances creative, enthusiastic thinking with simplified logic.
