About Mariam
I am a highly experienced, current gap year student holding a deferred Oxford physics place with a track record of academic success outside and inside the classroom including 5A*s at A-level (in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology). I am passionate about education and eager to share my knowledge. Coming to the UK at the start of my GCSEs, I understand how stressful it is to struggle with a subject, feel like you lack the background knowledge and feel unable to meet your goals. However, I also have first-hand experience that with the right support system, your ambitions are achievable and I hope to be this support for you.

I have had prolonged experience tutoring younger students and peers of various mathematical abilities, helping them achieve the results they need. Ensuring in-depth understanding, going at the student's own pace, and offering plenty of opportunities for practice are the three core values that I aim to uphold in every tutoring session. I am offering maths and further maths lessons up to A-level level. In our first lesson, we will start by discussing your goals (achieving an A*, developing mathematical fluency, sharpening your skills for a mathematics competition, preparing for a mathematics-based degree or anything else!) and assessing your current level in relation to those goals so that I can best cater the lessons.
