About Chris
I am a student at Imperial College London, studying Design Engineering. Alongside my studies, I am also a dedicated and experienced private tutor with a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
With a background in Mathematics, Physics, and Greek, as well as a degree in Modern Music Theory and Harmony from Nakas Music Conservatory, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive instruction and guidance in these subjects. Moreover, I have extensive experience in tutoring, having started teaching maths and providing guitar lessons in 2020 in Greece. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with a great number of students and gaining valuable experience in both subjects.
When it comes to my lessons, I believe in tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs and learning style. I understand that every student is different and may require different strategies to grasp the concepts effectively. As a result, I create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their thoughts, and learning at their own pace.
The format of my lessons is structured yet flexible. I begin by assessing the student's current level of understanding and identifying any knowledge gaps. From there, I develop a personalized lesson plan that aligns with the student's goals and learning style. My lessons typically include a mix of explanations, examples, practice problems, and interactive discussions to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.
As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and committed to excellence. I understand that the learning process can be challenging at times, and I am dedicated to supporting my students every step of the way. I’m a Design Engineering MEng graduate from Imperial College London offering in-person maths tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students. I have over 600 hours of tutoring experience and have worked with students of varying abilities, from those building foundations to those aiming for top grades.
