About Alexis
I study Mathematics at Imperial College London, after ranking among the top students at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), one of Europe’s leading science universities. I have worked as a teaching assistant at EPFL, supporting undergraduate courses in both pre and applied mathematics — including for students outside mathematics such as architecture and engineering. This experience taught me to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different backgrounds. I want to focus on students at A-Level, IB, and university level, ensuring to provide highly personalized support.

I offer clear, structured lessons focused on genuine understanding and confident problem-solving. My approach is rigorous but accessible: I help students see how mathematical ideas connect, rather than just memorising methods. Each session is tailored to the student’s background and goals — whether preparing for A-Level, IB (AA/AI, HL/SL), or university mathematics. Lessons are available in English or French, and can be held online or in person (within 30 minutes from Hammersmith).

Alexis helped me a lot during m'y high school by correcting almost all of my shortcoming. He is kind but also efficient. Highly recommed!
Hi everyone,
I wanted to quickly recommend Alexis, who has been helping my son with his Maths for his A level.
Before we started with Alexis, his confidence was pretty low.
Alexis has a great way of explaining things simply and was super patient with my son. He made the sessions genuinely interesting and has a clear love for maths and able to explain it to his level.
I would highly recommend him.Alexis has a very good level of mathematics, he is patient and very pedagogical allowing his students to progress with confidence.
Alexis is passionate about Mathematics since his early age. He is not only successful in his own studies but had always been very keen to coach peers when passing his exams. Very patient by nature, Alexis is naturally skilled to teach with pedagogy the complexity and turn it into feasibility with proper understanding. I highly recommend Alexis without reservation.
