About Hnata
Hi, I’m Hinata, a Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London. Originally from Japan and having attended a Scottish boarding school, I love helping students build confidence and make tricky topics easier to understand. I achieved top A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Japanese, and my lessons are clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. Outside of studying, I enjoy playing the bagpipes, swimming to stay active, and photography, capturing everything from nature to everyday life—these interests help me bring creativity, patience, and energy into every lesson.

I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at Imperial College London, offering tailored tutoring in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Japanese. Having recently achieved top A-levels in these subjects, I know exactly what it takes to succeed in today’s exams and can explain complex ideas in a clear, relatable way. My lessons (45, 60, or 90 minutes) are interactive, confidence-building, and focused on both understanding and results, whether you want to strengthen core knowledge, push towards top grades, or prepare for university applications.
