About Faraaz
I'm Faraaz, a chemical engineering graduate from Imperial College London now working in strategy consulting.
I started tutoring through Kumong before moving into private one-to-one and group sessions, building over seven years of experience across math, physics, and chemistry at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level.
I tutor because I genuinely find it enjoyable. There's something satisfying about taking a subject someone finds intimidating and making it quick. My consulting career has sharpened how I break down complex problems clearly and simply, and that same discipline carries directly into every session.

Sessions are built around understanding first and exam techniques second. We start by identifying exactly what you're struggling with, and that's where we focus. No generic revision or wasted time.
I use the worked examples questioning rather than just explaining, and regular low-stakes testing to catch gaps early.
GCSE sessions can run for 60 minutes, and A-level sessions can run up to 90 minutes however I am flexible if there are different requirements.
All sessions are fully online via Zoom, available across the UK and abroad, and designed to complement your school studies rather than counter them.
