About Abhay
I am Abhay, a Mathematics graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for teaching. I have completed my B.Sc. in Mathematics from Patna University and am currently pursuing a BS in Data Science and Applications from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. My academic journey has strengthened my logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. I believe in teaching mathematics with clarity, patience, and a concept-driven approach rather than rote memorization. I focus on helping students build strong foundations and develop confidence in tackling problems independently. My Teaching Approach and Methodology
As a mathematics tutor, my primary focus is on building strong conceptual foundations and developing logical thinking in students. I believe that mathematics becomes easier and more interesting when students understand why a method works rather than simply memorizing formulas.
I use a step-by-step teaching approach, starting from fundamentals and gradually progressing to advanced problem-solving. I explain concepts using clear examples, visual reasoning wherever possible, and real-life analogies to make abstract ideas more relatable.
Structure of a Typical Class:
-Quick revision of previous concepts or prerequisite topics
-Clear explanation of new concepts with examples
-Guided problem-solving during the session
-Independent practice with feedback and doubt-solving
