About Vinay
I hold a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT Dhanbad and an MBA from IIT Bombay, two of India’s most respected institutions. My academic journey involved clearing multiple competitive examinations, including IIT, GATE, and CAT, which demanded strong analytical ability and disciplined problem-solving. My fundamentals in mathematics are extremely strong, shaped by years of solving complex engineering and analytical problems. Mathematics has been central to both my engineering education and professional work, and I firmly believe that clarity in math is the foundation for success in science, engineering, and logical thinking overall. I have a strong interest in teaching and enjoy explaining concepts in a clear, structured, and approachable way. I focus on helping students truly understand what they are doing rather than memorizing steps, which builds confidence and long-term capability. I primarily work with high school and university students, offering support across mathematics, physics, and introductory engineering subjects, from secondary school level through to early university coursework. My teaching style is patient, practical, and tailored to each student’s learning pace. I am comfortable with both online and in-person tutoring and focus on clear communication, concept clarity, and steady progress. My goal is to help students develop confidence, accuracy, and independent problem-solving skills that carry beyond exams.

I understand what it feels like to start from zero or to put in effort without seeing results immediately. From my own experience, I firmly believe that once a student truly understands a problem, half the solution is already done. My first priority in every lesson is to ensure the student fully grasps what is being asked, why it matters, and how to approach it logically before jumping into calculations. I have cleared multiple competitive exams in my academic journey, including IIT, where I ranked among the top 0.01% of students in India. That experience taught me how to think under pressure, break complex problems into manageable parts, and apply concepts efficiently rather than relying on memorization. This is the same approach I pass on to my students. My teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, structured problem-solving, and consistent practice. I guide students step by step, adjusting my pace to their level, and help them develop the confidence to tackle new and unfamiliar questions independently. Whether it’s school-level math, ATAR preparation, or university concepts, my goal is to help students think clearly, stay calm, and solve problems with confidence.
