About Chaz
I had a complete career change later in life from a career in Graphic Design, to pursuing Medicine. I spent a long time believing I lacked the academic capability to succeed, however all I needed was a bit of confidence, the right teacher, and a different way of learning! I would love to help students gain confidence, and teach them in a way which works for them!

Im a highly visual learner, so we will use videos, presentations and tasks alongside discussions to learn the content. I utilise imagery, diagrams and mnemonics to learn. We will over time look at how to study effectively, using active recall and frequent testing. I use the pomodoro method and a study plan. Length of lessons maybe around 45 minutes, but happy to do up to 90 minutes.
I currently teach peers in small study groups (Masters degree students). I can adapt to do lessons from 11 years old (for home educated students for example), but can be comfortable teaching GCSE, and AS/A2 level biology.
