To make sure that my students are getting the best and most appropriate help for them, I do a brief assessment of where they are now academically, and where they would like to be. I will tailor a tutoring schedule specific to their needs, preferences and personality to make sure lessons are engaging as well as helpful. Regular assessment of their progress is essential to monitoring the effectiveness of lessons, as well as encouraging progress made. It is crucial that I help maintain a positive, supportive and accepting environment so that my student’s motivation is boosted.
Lessons will generally follow topics covered in their class, to limit confusion and scrambled brains ;)
