About Alisha
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in the mental health and social care sector, supporting individuals with complex needs. This experience strengthened my empathy, emotional intelligence, and ability to understand different learning needs. I now use these skills to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to grow and express themselves. Outside the classroom, I value personal growth and enjoy Muay Thai, fitness, reading, journaling, and learning languages—interests that keep me motivated and inspire my teaching style.

My lessons are interactive, supportive, and personalised to each student’s needs. With a BA (Hons) in Social Studies, I understand human behaviour, motivation, and learning differences, which helps me create a safe and encouraging space where every student can grow. My Level 5 TESOL certification has given me strong training in communicative, confidence-building teaching methods. Each 55-minute lesson focuses on speaking, practical vocabulary, and clear pronunciation, and I work with children, teenagers, and adults of all levels. I am committed to helping each learner achieve their goals and enjoy the process of learning English.
