About Basmala
My name is Basmala and I am in high school. I teach math from Pre-K till Algebra 1. I also teach the basics of violin to young kids as I have been playing for five years. I have been tutoring for 3 years and have excellent experience with kids. Skills that I have are patience, being detail oriented, and knowing how to approach problems with a solution.

My teaching methods and techniques include showing examples, showing videos and playing games. A typical lesson plan includes a 30 minute lesson, a short quiz to see what the student has grasped and a game that correlates to the lesson, I also hand out study- tools for the students so they can always review what they had learned. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I complete a lesson plan for each individual kid and write down what the kid excels in and what they struggle in to make my lessons more meaningful.
