About John
As I said before I am an honor roll student who has also successfully completed trigonometry, pre-calc, and college-level math courses as a Junior with a 3.64 GPA. I have been a math tutor for a year and a half in-person but I am ready to take my skills online as sometimes I like to do my math in the comfort of my home and I feel many students like to be comfortable in their own home doing the math they want to.

So as a student, I once struggled with understanding both pre-algebra and algebra, however, thanks to a lot of hard work and dedication I have developed numerous strategies and study skills to help students such as myself and that's what sets me apart from other tutors.
I typically like to break down a student, understand their strengths and weaknesses and then help build up those weaknesses while also maybe helping reinforce their strengths.
I really can connect with students and help them understand topics well and also help them with the mental side of math, as I've worked with many middle schoolers I feel they struggle the most with both doing the math and the mental part of getting to do the math.
