About Adam
I am a passionate flute tutor who loves helping students develop their musical skills and creativity. My teaching combines mentorship, critical thinking, creativity, and accountability to ensure steady progress. I focus on tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while encouraging expressive playing. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship. Creativity is emphasised through improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling. I guide students to set goals, practice consistently, and take ownership of their learning. My flute teaching approach focuses on creativity, structure, and personal growth. I believe that learning music should be enjoyable, meaningful, and inspiring. Each lesson encourages students to explore sound, rhythm, and expression. I act as a mentor who guides students to think critically and develop their own musical voice. Accountability is a key part of my method—I help students stay consistent and track their progress. Lessons include tone exercises, phrasing, breath control, and rhythm practice. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to develop complete musicianship. Creativity is emphasised through improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling.
I encourage students to reflect on their playing and learn from mistakes. My teaching is flexible, adapting to each student’s level, pace, and goals. I focus on building confidence, discipline, and independence in every class. I create a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment.
