About Ruth
Hello
My name is Ruth. I have 2 grown up daughters with dyslexia and processing disorders. I also have a neurodiverse grandson who has Autism and ADHD.
I hated maths when I was at school, because I didn't understand it and my teacher told me I was just stupid and to go away!
I made it my mission to undo all the damage she had done to my confidence and self-belief and to do my very best to stop any child from feeling how I felt when I was in school.
I have been working in schools for over 15 years and have taught maths to almost 2000 children. Come and join the long list of my students who are happy and successful.

Not only can I teach your child to love maths but I can teach her/him/them to become resilient problem solvers.
Each 1 hour lesson will cover one of the 4 main topics of Mathematics; Arithmetic, Statistics, Algebra and Geometry. I teach maths by mainly using every-day events to bring maths to life for key stages 2, 3 and 4 pupils. I work with pupils who 'just can't' do maths and those that want an extra boost.
