About Christina
I love learning and seeing children make progress, no matter how “small”. Teaching is more than just a job for me and I recognise that our current system is failing children in many ways. I want to do more. I believe in equal opportunities, removing barriers and providing children with a baseline for success - additional or special needs need not be a barrier to education, employment and a good lifestyle.
I am able to teach all Primary School subjects but specialise in English (including Reading, Writing and Spelling), Maths and special educational needs.

My aim is to create a safe and nurturing space for my students of any age. I believe every person, no matter their age, should have access to tailored learning and education. Unfortunately, our current school system does not always allow for even the most dedicated teachers to make the difference they wish they could and some children require additional support and should have access to it wherever possible.
I believe in tailoring learning to suit individual needs, learning styles and adapted, differentiated lessons that allow children to reach their uncapped potential.
I am able to run my lessons in a range of ways including practical learning, a calm and nurturing space, real life contexts including developing life skills.
