About Fani
I am a graduate researcher in organic chemistry at the University of Delaware with a passion for making STEM subjects approachable and engaging. My academic journey began at Pacific Lutheran University, where I developed a strong foundation in chemistry and mentoring through collaborative learning and peer support. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy helping students discover their own problem-solving style and build confidence in tackling challenging scientific concepts.

I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization by breaking complex STEM topics into clear, logical steps. I tailor my teaching style to each student’s learning preferences and end every session with a brief study plan to reinforce skills and improve academic confidence.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University and am currently pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Delaware. I tutor high school and undergraduate students in chemistry, biology, and math, including AP/IB courses, general and organic chemistry, and pre-med or STEM majors (including MCAT prep!).
