About Connie
I was born and raised in Chile and moved to the United States when I was 14 years old. Spanish is my native language, but I’ve been fully bilingual since I was a teenager — I know firsthand what it’s like to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture. That experience shaped my passion for teaching and helping others feel confident and capable in a second language. I’m currently a university student majoring in Data Science at Arizona State University with a minor in Theatre. I’ve always loved combining logic and creativity — which is why I bring both structure and fun to my classes! I’ve done theater plays, worked with international students, and tutored people from Chile and the U.S. in both Spanish and English. I love storytelling, acting, technology, and languages — and I bring that energy into everything I do. When you learn with me, it’s not just about grammar or memorizing words. It’s about learning to express yourself, connect with others, and feel proud of how far you’ve come. I’m patient, positive, and always willing to adjust the class to your pace and goals.
